This month has been a little, well lets just go ahead and say... NUTS! We began the month with a booth at one of our favourites The Central Alberta Quilter's Guild Show in Red Deer. As usual, this show did not disappoint. Loads of lovely quilts, waaaaay too many lovely vendor booths, and many familiar and new friends were there.
After working that show, I drove back to Edmonton, where Matt was setting up a booth at the Woman's Show. We showcased our beautiful Brother machines and had so much fun meeting many many new friends! We had a small make and take project, a tiny little pincushion that can be made in about five minutes. It was so incredible to see how excited people got when they finished (for some) their very first sewing project! We are really looking forward to working this show again in the fall and providing some classes there as well.
After all of that fun, we briefly considered putting our feet up for a second... then we remembered that JUDI MADSEN was coming... THE NEXT DAY!! Are we crazy or what? So, as they say, no rest for the wicked, we jumped right into the next adventure. That included, three separate two day retreats, 55 students, Miss Judi, her lovely sister Jessie, and a photo booth! We had so much fun!
After all of that, Matty visited BC for the Abbotsford Creative Stitches Show, then came home for about an hour before heading east to the Creative Festival in Toronto and now he is driving home as I type this. :) I must admit, I am looking forward to a much calmer month of May!
