Thoroughly Modern

This was a fun quilt, it was just screaming for some 'modern' quilting. Some ruler work, thread is all Wonderfil Deco Bob, top and bottom. I used patterns in the fabric to guide some of my ideas as the quilting took place. Thanks for looking!

We've had a bit of a cold blast here in Alberta, hope you are keeping warm and getting all of your quilting projects done.

We've been busy here at Sparrow Studioz!!! Matt has been traveling, taking the AQPS Road Show across Canada, to spread the good news of this wonderful machine. I have been opening the Calgary Sparrow Studioz location in the Wonderfil Threaducation Centre, Bay 3, 2915 19 Street, Calgary, Alberta. We have two machines for rent and are teaching beginner classes every Friday. For information on classes and hours, see the website for Calgary locations, or call the Edmonton Studio. (Isn't threaducation a neat word? I love it!) Watch for dates on a grand opening of the Threaducation Centre. More classes will be announced for 2014. . . all-over quick designs, multiple border opportunities, feathers, feathers, feathers: beginning to advanced, 'how do I quilt this?', using those design boards, and more.
