Enchanting Embroidery

We just can't get enough of embroidery around here lately! We are so fortunate to have a new embroidery teacher, Veronica Jack, join our forces here at Sparrow Studioz. She has been stitching up samples like crazy and we are really excited to share them with you all. :) A Trunk Show and Talk has been scheduled for Saturday July 26 at 1pm. This session will be free, pre registration is required.

Veronica will share a variety of embroidered projects such as tile embroidered wall hangings, 3D projects, quilts and more! She will also chat about stabilizers, what is appropriate for various projects as well as some of her favourite tools. This girl LOVES her tools and she is an expert! Matt and I are thrilled to have Veronica working with us to expand our embroidery knowledge.

We had a guest teacher here this past week. His name is Dusty Farrell and he teaches long arm quilting. He and his wife Stephanie were simply awesome people and such a pleasure to have around.  I stitched up this little sugar skull for them, as Dusty is quite a fan of skulls and bones and such. :)
What do you think?

Would you stitch this kind of design? What are some of your favourite embroidery websites? Thanks for sharing and thanks for stopping by for a visit! :)
