The New Sparrow Studioz

Welcome to The New Sparrow Studioz! YES, We've moved!

Thank you for your continued support! Without each and every one of you, none of this would have been possible!

Our new Location is at 3160 Parsons Rd (99st). We have added a toll-free number for our out of town clients 1-855-963-4242. WE ARE OPEN FOR BUSINESS! Come by anytime or you can wait until our open house October 5th (10am - 5pm)

We now have a beautiful storefront to match the beautiful quilts we have the privilege of working on every single day. Not only are we steps away from QE2, Whitemd Dr. & the Anthony Henday, we have a big honking sign that makes finding us a breeze.

What a great space to welcome our next two guest teachers:

Jamie Wallen(Join Jamie for Thread Fusion, Mystical Feathers, Mystical Floral, Leaves and Vines Designs, Mystical Grids and Paisleys) Although Jamie's quilting is out of this world, his teaching style focuses on building confidence in beginners. These classes are geared from beginner to advanced. Everyone will go home with enough skill, tips and trick to last for years to come.

& Judi Madsen (Join Judi at Sparrow Studioz for a one of a kind experience - 2 DAY RETREAT)

Our upstairs classroom space is slightly removed from the humming of the machines with bright wall to wall windows. We now have two exclusive classroom machines.

A bird's eye view of the studio floor where we are honoured to have our quilting Ninja's Joan Smith, Joanne Flamand, Sheila Van Der Linden, Kim Caskey and Corina Potter Finishing Quilts Like Noboyz Business!

A bird's eye view of two of our rental longarms (a Freedom and a Millennium) and Sheila Van Der Linden's Millennium stuck right in the middle where she can supervise our rental program. We have also added a brand new Millennium to our rental program. These new machines feature a top thread break sensor, a low bobbin alert and a smart touch pad featuring Channel locks, a bobbin thread cutter and let's not forget the hydraulic table lift. It's like renting a Roles Royce!

Huge cutting tables to make trimming up your quilts and getting them ready for binding a breeze.

Overhead lighting to place just the right amount of light exactly where you need it.

Our rental Millennium in it's private little section with beautiful daylight lighting.

Our Client quilts are safely stored in these Pax Wardrobe Cabinets from Ikea. The quilts are neatly folded and placed on protected pant racks. Ready to be stitched by our studio Ninjas.

  9. The new space looks amazing. You Sparrows should be very proud (I'm sure you are). We'll come by to check it all out in person at the next opportunity, maybe around Halloween when I expect we'll be up to hear our niece and nephew-in-law playing their traditional Halloween gig. Congratulations on the new digs!
