Using a Quiltazoid

One of the many perks of being a part of the Sparrow Studio team is having access to each others tools. I used the quiltazoid on these two sampler quilts. It kind of reminds me of a spirograph set I had as a child.

The overlapping circles are simple to execute. They look perfect, and solve the design dilemma of sampler quilts. This quilt was one of my customers, Sabina. This quilt was very special to her, she spent many years piecing it, and will most likely give it to her son one day when he decides to marry.
This pretty quilt was pieced by myself for my very patient mom. It took me a year and a half but it was worth the wait. The quilt pattern is Wildflower Rhapsody by Wing and a Prayer Design.

By using the quiltazoid, each of the 12 different sampler blocks are quilted quickly, and accurately.

  1. Thank you for your interesting blog, Sheila, you make Quiltazoid sound like an interesting tool and easy to learn.

    1. Thanks Joan! It was simple to use! You should try it out one day.
